Sherborn Lions Club: FREE Eye Screening this Thursday, May 19th!

We welcome you to come by Thursday, May 19th at Pilgrim Church in Sherborn.  Screening specialists will be there from 11 am – 2 pm to offer an eye screening to anyone from any town who would like to stop by.  If you would like to also join the COA for lunch at 12pm, please RSVP to us at 508-651-7858 with your name and phone number.  A $5 donation for lunch is very appreciated and we will be serving roasted chicken, potatoes, and salad.

If you are only coming for the eye screening then no appointment is necessary.  The Lions Club does ask that you bring old glasses and hearing aids which may be able to be re-used/recycled.  A vision screening can be an important first step to vision health, but it cannot and should not take the place of a comprehensive eye exam. A screening is used to find possible vision issues that may not be obvious and may need further attention.

Beware of Medicare scams. Medicare will not call you and ask you to verify your Medicare number or any other identifiers. Click here for more information on how not to be caught off guard by scammers. We have received several calls from residents that this has happened to.

Get Your Booster! You can get your booster at Pine Hill Pharmacy, no appointment is necessary.

Visit the Vaxfinder tool at for a full list of locations to receive a booster. Residents can narrow results to search for locations that are offering boosters. Many locations will be booking appointments out weeks in advance.

Transportation services are provided by JFK Transportation Discounted tickets are available through the COA Office. Please contact us for more information.
