
Monthly Dementia Friendly Lunch and Learn
The Holliston and Sherborn Councils on Aging have teamed up to provide a FREE Monthly Dementia Friendly Lunch and Learn. Each month will have a guest presenter talking or providing a demonstration about different facets of memory loss or memory decline. All are welcome and there is no cost for lunch but we do require RSVP. Those living in Holliston can call the Holliston COA if they need a ride to the event.

Elevate your wellbeing with a special fitness group centered around movement and laughter. Presented by Jose DeSoto, Certified Dementia Practitioner, Certified Yoga Leader and Neighborhood Director at Wingate Residences at Needham.
Effective Communication Strategies

Join us to explore how communication changes when someone is living with memory loss. Learn how to interpret verbal and non-verbal changes in communication and identify strategies to help communication at each stage of memory loss. This program will be led by Julie McMurray, MA, LMHC, CDP Senior Manager for the Alzheimer’s Association.
