Food Assistance

There is no food pantry located in Sherborn, however, residents are able to access A Place to Turn food pantry which is located in Natick. A Place to Turn is committed to providing emergency food and clothing to those living in the MetroWest community. They serve those in need in an atmosphere of caring and mutual respect. They are located at 99 Hartford Street, Natick.

Hours of Operation
Food Distribution: Monday and Wednesday from 4:30pm – 6:30pm,
Tuesday, and Thursday from 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Food Donations: Monday from 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM

You will need a referral from the COA in order to access their services.

Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels delivers prepared and packaged food to homebound elders Monday through Friday with the help of volunteer drivers. There may be a suggested donation for meals but no person is denied a meal due to inability to pay.

The Millis Ecumenical Food Pantry has been in continuous operation since November of 1991. The mission of the pantry is to provide 3 days of non-perishable food items to our clients every 2 weeks.

They are housed in the Church of Christ, and rely on the residents, churches, civic organizations, school groups, and companies of Millis for funding and food donations.

The pantry is located at 142 Exchange Street, Millis, MA (located on the bottom floor of the Church of Christ).  The pantry is open every Saturday from 10 – noon, and the first and third Wednesdays from 10 – noon. You can contact them at [email protected]

 

SNAP: The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) is the largest federal nutrition assistance program. SNAP provides benefits to eligible individuals and families via Electronic Benefits Transfer card who qualify. The COA can assist you with the application.
