
Dementia Friendly Lunch and Learn
The Holliston and Sherborn Councils on Aging have teamed up to provide a FREE Monthly Dementia Friendly Lunch and Learn. Lunch is provided by a new vendor, Jason’s Kitchen in Sherborn. Each month will have a guest presenter talking or providing a demonstration about different facets of memory loss or memory decline. All are welcome and there is no cost for lunch but we do require RSVP. Those living in Holliston can call the Holliston COA if they need a ride to the event.

“Dementia Engagement and Empowerment”
Jolanda Pressey, Memory Care Director at the Residences of South Natick, will speak about approaches memory care providers use to create meaningful and pleasant days for someone with dementia. Creating an environment, activities, and daily tasks tailored to a person’s situation, abilities, and preferences can lead to a better quality of life at every stage.
