This presentation will provide an introduction for people who will soon be eligible for Medicare as well as people who currently have Medicare. We will discuss Original Medicare (Part A & B), Medicare Supplements/Medigaps, Medicare Advantage Plans (Part C), Medicare Drug Plans (Part D), Medicare Open Enrollment, programs to help people save money and more. The information is specific to Massachusetts residents and is sponsored by the Sherborn Council on Aging and presented by SHINE (Serving the Health Insurance Needs of Everyone). Sherborn Council on Aging has two experienced SHINE counselors available. SHINE counselors are trained and certified by the Executive Office of Elder Affairs to explain Medicare or Medicaid benefits and options and to answer Medicare and Medicaid related questions.
