This Walk is for the Birds
| Did you ever want to go birding? This is your chance!Join us at Broadmoor in South Natick and take a walk with local bird enthusiast, Don Goulding. He will lead the walk, looking, identifying and listening for birds along the way. Don is a retired high school history teacher, and taught in public school in the Greater Boston Area for nearly 40 years. He enjoyed teaching and now finds a new way to teach interested people about birds. He will lead the walk and share his bird knowledge with you. He has been birding since the age of 13 and has birded in ‘the lower 48’ and Alaska. He has seen or heard c. 645 species of birds, many of them in Massachusetts. For nearly 20 years, I have participated in the annual Concord Area Christmas bird count.
