SHAKESPEARE – THE TEMPEST

If last year’s taste of Shakespeare got you hankering for more, join us as we begin at the end by tackling Shakespeare’s last play in more depth. Ahead of the first class, you will be provided with links and notes to familiarize you with the text. Then we will dive in by focusing on a few key scenes and speeches as well as a discussion of theme and character. There will be time between classes to read, prepare and view a little on your own.

Presenter: Roz Kubek is a retired Pembroke English Department Head whose favorite hobby is teaching. She’s a poet and dabbler whose webinars for the Pembroke Public Library and the Sherborn COA have been a popular attraction and distraction. Roz’s workshops are relaxed and entertaining blends of media, presentation, and lively (completely optional) discussion.
